We arrived before 8:00 am at SSS LapuLapu, Andoks Building to get the Unified Multipurpose ID. The guard gave us the printed que numbers 52 and 53. Many people waited outside, hundreds I guess. I thought there were few to transact at this government sector around this summertime but I did not guess it right. While waiting and filling up the UMID form, we took our breakfast at Andoks Restaurant and sipped coffees (Cappucino and Mochaccino) at Coffee Dream, near the SSS area. As my que # being served, the middle aged attendant gave me additional requirements (Affidavit of Loss, Payment of P300 for the card replacement) to procure before I can process the UMID. I really thought that getting UMID for the first time is free but it's not. They will get the old SSS ID card upon applying for UMID card. Since my SSS ID was lost with my wallet being robbed last October last year so I can't proceed without those stated additional requirements. We went to one of the Attorney's Offices near the Lapu Lapu City Hall to get an Affidavit of Loss for P200 and I already paid the P300 replacement fee at SSS Cashier before going out the building. After that, we went back to SSS's UMID Capture Area and right away I was served and the second attendant next to the middle aged attendant let me checked the personal information that he entered to their database which I am impressed the new improvement implemented by the current administration. I asked him when the IMID card will be available and he said after 1 month from date of application it will be delivered to owner's address if not just follow up at the LapuLapu Post Office.

After that transaction, we went out, took lunch and bought the following stuffs : Electrolux Rice Cooker, Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, Washing Net, Ocean Potion Sunblock, Maybelline Crayon Liner, Hafele Door Handle, Button Stainleess Steel Door Handle, Cabinet Stopper, Nylon Cable Tie, Double sided Shoe Brush, and Shoe Lace.
